Los Angeles: Grammy Museum
Behold: the GRAMMY Museum! This was an unexpectedly informational and interactive museum with so much about various music legends.
One of my favorite parts was an exhibit highlighting Tupac with his his love of words and ways of communicating through lyrics. Seeing his handwritten notes, lyrics, and poems really made me respect him was truly inspiring.
When we were there, they also had the Taylor Swift exhibit going on — which was just about everything you needed to know about TSwift and included an interactive part of singing "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" harmoniously in a little recording booth — but unfortunately that exhibit has since moved on.
No worries though — this museum really takes you through the history of music as well as the history of the Grammy's. Sometimes I felt a little old remembering performances way back when in the 90's. But it was also a fun reminder of all these songs I've loved growing up.
An interactive part of the museum was this jam session area where you could pretend like you knew what you were doing with various instruments:

Our finale of the Grammy Museum experience was The Taylor Swift Experience. We spent a good amount of time in awe of her life and successes.

TRAVEL TIP: The Grammy Museum is located at L.A. Live which could take a half a day in itself to explore and wander around. If you're hungry, they've especially have a lot of good places to eat. And while you're at it, you can get tickets to a Lakers game or concert later that night!
