Los Angeles: The Annenberg Space for Photography

PHOTOGRAPHY. So I love photography. In the way that you can tell a story with images. And the ability to capture moments in different times and places. I realized after I took my photography class that every photograph is really a perspective of the person that took that photograph. I think we forget that sometimes. 

Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City does an amazing job of showcasing select photographers and showing how photography is important in different ways. How each of these photographers contributes and their personal perspective and method of photography.

The space's limited hours (closed Mon – Tues, and open Wed – Sun from 11am – 6pm) and odd location in what feels like a very business minded part of town, was kind of deterring. The space itself is not super grand or where you would spend hours at, like The Getty Center. But it's worth visiting, Even more so for their workshops and talks that they host.

We didn't get to do a workshop, but there's an extended addition of the space where some of the lectures are hosted that also has a room that makes you look like you're walking on the ceiling. Or at least, we tried to make it look magic like that.
