End of Summer & Bonfires & Video

Today is officially the FIRST DAY of fall. I can't say I'm super super sad about it. I'm grateful for all the memories this summer brought — and there were a lot.

I really loved those Tennessee summer nights though. Especially ones where we gathered around a bonfire that didn't burn too bright, but just enough to make some solid s'mores. The pictures below are from a bonfire night one year ago. We had an impromptu photo shoot to capture these peeps foreva. I love them.

It's been strange not being in Tennessee. Letting that part of my life go little by little and focusing on what Provo, UT has to offer. Archiving makes me feel more at ease because I know it won't be forgotten. I always want to remember these special moments I was able to experience and the people I had the opportunity to surround myself with in one of my favorite places.

I made a little video that started last summer and is now a compilation of most of the video clips I have of my almost two full years in Tennessee. It includes a song by my good friend Anne Parkes Armistead — one of my favorite singer/song-writers. And she doesn't even do it professionally.

I am looking forward to this fall season in Utah though. Cool temperatures, changing leaves, rain, and a reason to drink hot chocolate again.

Happy end of summer, and welcome fall!
