Nashville: The Frist Exhibit is "Bellissima!" and I don't even care that much about cars

I've written about The Frist: Center for the Visual Arts before (here) and went through the entire museum and their exhibitions. Luckily this place is dynamic with changing exhibits. When I saw that they had an Italian automotive exhibit I felt like it was the perfect fit for Matt — who loves cars — and me — who loves anything Italian.

So one Friday night after work, I met Matt at the Frist, paid my $12 and had an hour before it closed to scope out the exhibit that runs through October called "Bellisima! The Italian Automotive Renaissance, 1945 – 1975". It was just enough time to go through the exhibit and check out all the incredible cars.

We like to go through these kinds of things, imagine having that kind of money, and pick out the car that we would get. And also be really picky about the features we liked and don't like on the cars. Even if it's one million dollars. There were also some pretty sweet motorcycles too.

The weirdest car was one that looked flat on top — you would have to literally lay down in the car to drive it. Not sure how that would work... but it looked pretty cool. It's definitely an attention grabber.

I'm really glad we had the opportunity to go. Just wish we had more time to explore the rest of the museum again!
