Los Angeles in November

Before I go into all the other epic trips from Los Angeles from the spring to the summer, just wanted to share a little photo journal from this last time I went to LA in November.

Looking back on this blog and all the photos that I have from this past year, it's really kind of crazy to me how much I traveled. To Los Angeles and Utah, but also everywhere in-between. Literally.

I'm extremely grateful.

I absolutely love Nashville, and I know it was the right choice to come here, but it's especially hard around the holidays not to be near my family. And so to be able to go home a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and not only see my family and Matt, but also see one of my best friends get married (the real purpose of the trip), brings me so much happiness. And will just have to sustain me until Christmas when I get to see them all again. (Matt just a little sooner.)

We really packed it in in the three days I was there. I landed on a Friday morning and took a red-eye Sunday at 11:59pm to be able to come back to Nashville and go to work the next day.

Within those days, Matt and I made time to go to In-n-Out, the beach (TWICE), the little aquarium at the end of Manhattan Beach Pier (wrote about it before here), watch the most incredible sunsets (I've realized that November actually does have the best, most saturated and beautiful sunsets of the year), see my friend get sealed for time and all eternity, have multiple family dinners, and special friend visits from Krystal and Jen.

It was perfect. And it was so hard to leave.

The first beach trip (Hermosa Beach — Matt actually got fully in the water both times. He's crazy. And I love him.):

The wedding (with some of the coolest girls around — I missed them so much!):

Disclaimer: these are not their kids haha

She's so classy and beautiful!

Matt with those hips. I've got competition.

Dinner for my grandma's birthday at my favorite C&O Trattoria (they sing "That's Amore" with the whole restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights):

The second beach visit (Manhattan Beach):

This kook (aka Krystal) drove from Palm Springs, and Jen flew from Santa Cruz to see me and meet Matt! So grateful for them:

Until next time Los Angeles...
