Los Angeles: Churro Borough

I don't know where or when I saw this pop up in my life — maybe it was an Instagram ad? — but they definitely targeted the right person. I love churros, especially the crispier kind, and the combination of churro and ice cream just sounded like the most brilliant why-didn't-anyone-do-this-before kind of idea. Thank you to Churro Borough for bringing it to life.

When I finally got to have one for myself at their location in Los Feliz, I was not disappointed. It wasn't as crispy as the kind of churros I usually prefer, but the ice cream in the middle with all the sugar from the churro really made up for it. 

Plus I just like their vibe inside with the bright yellow and the huge mural on the building's facade makes it a nice place to be. #isupportchurroborough
